About the role

This role is based in a busy External Relations department and is focused on supporting the ongoing development and maintenance of the University of Derby website and any other digital estate connected to the University’s student recruitment, marketing and profile-raising activity. In addition, the role is responsible for driving technological innovation, reporting and analysis, and supporting key marketing operations.

We are seeking a candidate who possesses substantial experience in front-end development, working with third-party Content Management Systems (CMS) and similar technologies. While familiarity with a broad development stack is beneficial, expertise in full-stack development (client and server-side) is not a prerequisite for this role as the University uses a wide variety of third-party systems for most of its back-end (server-side) operations.

As the key touchpoint for the University, you will also be able to communicate effectively to non-technical stakeholders across the institution.

Suite of holistic wellbeing benefits and support including family-friendly policies, ill-health compensation, and robust Employee Assistance Programme
